The Glock 21 Gen5 MOS pistol from the iconic firearms manufacturer – this time in .45 Auto caliber – features high accuracy and low recoil. Advantages include high magazine capacity, classic appearance and a firm, secure grip.
Each Glock Gen5 pistol is equipped with "beavertail" backstraps in two sizes. The backstrap frame allows users to change the grip circumference to suit the individual size of their hand.
The front part of the magazine base is enlarged, making it easier to remove the magazine from the pistol if it doesn't drop out due to a malfunction or during reloading. Other ergonomic features include front barrel serrations, which not only distinguish the weapon in appearance but also add additional tactile surface for an overall better grip.
A better and more secure grip is also provided by the rough textured grip (RTF) from the 4th generation (Gen4) Glock pistols. This has proven effective and is now also on the fifth generation. The texture is designed to facilitate grip without being too aggressive.
The Glock Marksman Barrel (GMB) features advanced barrel rifling based on polygonal barrel design. The result is increased shooting accuracy.
One of the safety features of the Glock 21 Gen5 pistol is the chamber load indicator, so you no longer have to doubt whether the weapon is fully unloaded or not.
The magazine catch on the frame of the Glock 21 Gen5 is ambidextrous and additionally enlarged towards the back of the weapon. The ambidextrous magazine catch is more practical and allows better customization of the weapon to your needs. The magazine well is also enlarged at the entry to enable faster and more automatic magazine insertion.
It is already a tradition with the Glock brand to use a modular optic system (MOS), making it easier to mount popular optical sights. Other accessories, such as tactical lights or lasers, can be attached thanks to the mounting rail under the barrel.
The polymer frame of the pistol is lightweight yet durable, and its advantage is also reduced recoil due to the damping properties of the polymer.
In addition to the safety features already mentioned above, the pistol also includes an orange magazine baseplate, which visually assures you that the magazine is truly empty. The trio of safety locks, which are part of the Safe Action system, automatically disengage one by one when the trigger is pulled and re-engage when the trigger is released.
Regardless of whether your dominant hand is right or left, the ambidextrous slide stop lever makes handling the slide quick, safe and comfortable. Ergonomics and versatility are further enhanced by the absence of finger grooves on the grip, making the pistol suitable for a wider range of users.
