Three Setting Options in Total

Mode 1 or low mode is ideal for shooting with a suppressor or with ammunition producing high pressures. The standard operating position is medium Mode 2, which is optimized for consistent ejection of commonly available ammunition. High Mode 3 is the perfect setting when more gas is needed for the weapon's mechanism to function reliably.

Why Use Mode 3

Possible reasons for setting the third, high mode include the use of ammunition with a steel case, for example, during military deployment. Alternatively, it can be used with low-pressure ammunition, such as subsonic ammunition in models 7.62×39, or to ensure reliable weapon function in extremely dirty or clogged weapon mechanisms.

Easy Adjustment Even in Field Conditions

Cleverly placed holes in the gas regulator allow it to be turned by hand or with the help of a 5.56/7.62 caliber cartridge. This facilitates changing the regulator setting when using extended fore-ends.
