KA-BAR® 1482 fixed blade knife - TDI Law Enforcement Knife

This knife of specific shape was designed by John Benner, founder and owner of Tactical Defense Institute as a "last option" knife for police officers in situations when they can not reach their weapon.

This is a larger version of the favorite TDI Law Enforcement Knife.

Drop point full tang blade is made of stainless steel AUS 8A with hardness 57-59 HRC. 

The blade has a black coating eliminating unwanted reflections and preventing corrosion.

On the blade there is a sign / logo KA-BAR.

The handle is made of high-quality and durable material Zytel^® - fiberglass nylon with anti-slip texture- it has a rough texture and finger notch. 

Shaping (curves) on the back of the blade by the handle aims not only to decorate the knife, but also functionality - a non-slip platform through which you can apply pressure to the knife and guide the knife with your thumb or forefinger.

The knife comes with robust and durable Zytel^® belt sheath - fiberglass nylon. The sheath has 2 Cordura^® straps for attaching to pants, belt, tactical vest or another equipment. The sheath holds knife securely and at the same time it allows for quick pulling out.
