The most famous and most used Ka-Bar® knife, which became almost icon. Developed during World War II and was originally used by US Marine Corps. Gradually, US Army, US Navy, coastal guard and others accepted this knife. It has become so well-known that the KABAR marking was used for knives of the same type, which were not produced in the KA-Bar® factory. It was used by soldiers during many conflicts around the world and today it is also a favorite knife of all adventurers, survival activities and outdoor fans and, of course, collectors, in whose collections it certainly deserves its place.
Clip point blade is made of stainless steel 1095 Cro-Van with hardness 56-58 HRC.
The blade has a black coating eliminating unwanted reflections and preventing corrosion.
On one side of the blade is KA-BAR OLEAN NY sign and USMC sign on the other.
Ergonomic handle of layered, polished leather.
The knife is provided with a guard- protection against slipping fingers on the blade.
The guard and butt cap are made of metal and powder coated.
The knife comes with robust and durable leather belt sheath. The sheath is secured by snap button fastener.
