Knives from the American brand Cold Steel are renowned for their quality, which naturally applies to this "flipper" as well. It was designed by the well-known knife designer West Crawford, who otherwise makes custom knives. However, for Cold Steel, he also prepared this production model, which is a top-notch knife solution for everyday use at an affordable price.
The Cold Steel Crawford Model 1 is a medium-sized folding EDC knife that features a smooth (and truly sharp) blade. It is made with a hollow grind from Japanese stainless steel (4034 Stainless Steel) with excellent properties and high durability.
The high-quality ergonomic handle is made from a material the manufacturer calls Zy-Ex. The knife also includes a well-thought-out locking system solution, which in this case is double. The primary lock is a linerlock, and the secondary is a sliding lock, allowing the knife to stay open without the risk of the linerlock breaking.
