Original US Army chemical protective trousers designed for use in environments with chemical, biological, or radiological hazards (CBRN). They are part of the JSLIST (Joint Service Lightweight Integrated Suit Technology) system, which combines effective protection with reduced weight and improved comfort compared to older generations.
The trousers feature an integrated JSLIST liner with a selectively permeable membrane containing activated carbon. This system helps capture harmful substances while allowing moisture to escape, improving comfort during extended wear. Compared to older carbon foam-based systems, it offers lower weight and better breathability.
The trousers have a higher waist and include adjustable suspenders to help maintain proper positioning when worn with additional gear. Hook-and-loop adjustments at the waist and leg openings allow for individual fit customization. Two thigh pockets provide space for small essentials.
These trousers originate from US Army surplus stocks. They are new, unused items in original packaging, but may show signs of long-term storage.
