The Safariland 6004-27 Belt Platform combines the Drop Flex Adapter (DFA) and QLS 22 Receiver Plate into a compact and highly stable holster mounting system. Designed to position the holster higher on the thigh and closer to the body, the setup improves weapon control, reduces platform movement, and enhances draw consistency during dynamic use. The integrated QLS system allows rapid tool-free holster attachment and removal for fast configuration changes.
The Drop Flex Adapter replaces traditional rigid drop-leg mounting systems with a more compact and ergonomic solution. By positioning the holster higher on the thigh, the DFA reduces excessive movement and keeps the platform closer to the body for improved control during movement, kneeling, or positional transitions. Compared to conventional drop-leg platforms, the setup offers better mobility and a lower overall profile.
The platform includes the Safariland QLS 22 Receiver Plate and is fully compatible with holsters equipped with the QLS 19 Locking Fork. The quick-detach system enables rapid holster installation or removal without tools, allowing users to switch efficiently between belt, thigh, or other mounting platforms.
The single-leg-strap configuration maintains a streamlined profile while delivering excellent platform stability. The thigh strap features an anti-slip silicone backing that helps keep the system securely in place during movement or extended wear. The platform is compatible with belts approximately 2" to 2.25" wide (50–58 mm).
Constructed from rugged polymer, the 6004-27 platform is built to withstand demanding service conditions, intensive training, and regular operational use. The robust Safariland design ensures long-term durability while maintaining reliable holster retention and stable carry characteristics.
