When using a standard gunshot suppressor, the gas blowback to the shooter's face is not only distracting but also poses a health risk, especially at indoor shooting ranges. While the use of suppressors in police and military applications makes sense, the gas escape from the ejection port (and for AR15 system rifles, also around the charging handle) has various drawbacks. With gunshot suppressors featuring RBS technology, these problems will be a thing of the past. The new low-pressure chamber allows for the absorption of a significant amount of gases, reducing the amount of gas returned to the weapon; hence, the suppressor with RBS technology is an excellent choice for semi-automatic weapons, assault rifles and submachine guns.

Protects both the shooter and the weapon

While with regular suppressors the backpressure of gases increases the bolt velocity by more than 30%, measurements have shown that with suppressors using RBS technology, the increase is only about 4%, which naturally reduces weapon wear. This is due to the special design of the first expansion chamber, which reduces pressure in less than half the time compared to conventional suppressors, thereby minimizing backpressure. Another advantage is a significant reduction in system fouling by post-shot residues.

The new design minimally increases the size and weight of the suppressor compared to standard suppressors, while the flash and noise of the shot are suppressed just as effectively as with the proven B&T suppressors.
