B&T® RBS QDSF noise silencer / SureFire / caliber 7.62mm

When using a standard gunshot silencer, the gas blowback to the shooter's face is not only distracting but also poses a health risk, especially at indoor shooting ranges. The RBS QDSF / SureFire / .223 caliber B&T silencer with Reduced Backpressure (RBS) technology significantly reduces the amount of gases exiting the ejection port and, in AR15 system rifles, also around the charging handle of the bolt carrier.

The call has been answered

For a long time, there has been demand from military and police units for B&T silencers with quick-mounting capabilities for SureFire muzzle devices. B&T has finally responded to this call, and now you can acquire a B&T silencer that can be mounted on SureFire muzzle devices. B&T silencers with this mounting option are marked as QDSF. The quick mounting and dismounting speed of the silencer is maintained, as with all B&T silencers with QD mounting.

For soldiers, police officers, and now you

While the use of silencers in police and military applications makes sense, the gas escape from the ejection port (and in AR15 system rifles, also around the charging handle of the bolt carrier) has various drawbacks. With noise silencers featuring RBS technology, these issues will be a thing of the past. The new low-pressure chamber absorbs a significant amount of gases, reducing the gas returned to the weapon, making the RBS technology silencer a great choice for semi-automatic weapons, assault rifles and submachine guns.

Protects the shooter and the gun

While with standard silencers, the bolt speed increases by over 30% due to backpressure, measurements have shown that with silencers using RBS technology, the increase is only about 4%, which, of course, reduces weapon wear. This is thanks to the special design of the first expansion chamber, which reduces pressure in less than half the time compared to conventional silencers, minimizing backpressure. Another advantage is the significant reduction of post-shot residue clogging the system.

No more compromises

The new design only slightly increases the silencer's dimensions and weight compared to standard silencers, while the muzzle flash and noise are suppressed as effectively as with proven B&T silencers.
