ANV® Wharncliffe M06 ELMIM claw / knife

Ergonomic, flexible grip

The hexagon-shaped hole allows for a secure grip with the middle finger and is suitable for use in both the right and left hand. The claw frame is designed so that the ring and little fingers can stably wrap around the handle. The index finger is positioned on the shorter part of the frame, ensuring a firm lock and the possibility of using alternative grips. The Kydex sheath supports various carrying methods, including belt, MOLLE system or horizontal carry.

Robust yet lightweight

The asymmetrical skeleton construction reduces weight while maintaining blade strength. The M06 ELMIM is produced using Metal Injection Molding technology, which allows for precise shaping with minimal material waste. The steel alloy used corresponds in its properties to premium powder steel Elmax, and its composition has been verified in collaboration with Bodycote. This approach ensures a high level of control and consistency in production.

Heat treatment for maximum durability

The blade undergoes vacuum and cryogenic hardening, which increases strength, toughness and long-term resistance to wear and corrosion. This treatment supports reliability during prolonged mechanical stress and prepares the knife for deployment in harsh environments.
