The FKMD® ALSR 2 Rescue Folding Knife is designed for emergency and rescue situations. Suitable for traffic accidents, field operations, and outdoor use, it combines a cutting blade, seatbelt cutter, and glass breaker into one reliable tool.
The blade is made from N690Co stainless steel with a hardness of 58–60 HRC, ensuring consistent cutting performance in demanding conditions. With a blade length of 90 mm and a thickness of 3 mm, it offers a balanced combination of strength and maneuverability. The satin finish reduces glare during use.
The built-in seatbelt cutter allows for fast and efficient cutting in emergency situations such as vehicle extrication. A glass breaker tip enables rapid access through vehicle windows when needed. The knife is equipped with a LAWKS® safety system, which reinforces the liner lock and secures the blade firmly in the open position.
The FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon) handle in a high-visibility red and yellow color scheme ensures easy identification in critical situations. With an overall length of 235 mm and a weight of 140 g, the knife provides balanced handling. The textured surface improves grip security, while a stainless steel clip (AISI 420) allows for secure attachment to gear or clothing.
The knife includes a nylon sheath for safe and practical carry. Durable stainless steel components enhance overall strength and longevity. An integrated rope cutter adds further versatility for rescue and field applications. The sheath allows for quick access and secure storage during use.
