Winter hat Polartec® Wind Pro™ Tilak Military Gear®

The Tilak Military Gear winter beanie is made from Polartec Wind Pro, a densely knitted technical fleece that significantly reduces wind penetration while remaining highly breathable. According to the manufacturer, the material is up to four times more wind resistant than conventional synthetic fleece. Its water-repellent surface also provides protection from light rain and snow.

Polartec Wind Pro Wind Protection

Polartec Wind Pro uses a dense knit construction to limit wind penetration without relying on a windproof membrane. This allows the material to provide enhanced wind resistance while retaining the breathability needed during active movement.

Warmth and Breathability

The fleece helps retain body heat in cold conditions while allowing excess heat and moisture to escape during physical activity. This balance makes the beanie suitable for demanding outdoor, professional and tactical use in cold and windy weather.

Water-Repellent Surface

The outer surface repels light rain and snow, providing additional protection in changing weather conditions. Polartec Wind Pro is water repellent rather than fully waterproof and is not intended to replace waterproof headwear in prolonged or heavy precipitation.
