Modestone® Military Waterproof Notebook 96 × 148 mm / 50 Sheets

The Modestone Military Waterproof Notebook contains 50 sheets of durable stone paper for notes, sketches and fieldwork. Its compact 96 × 148 mm pages feature a 7 × 7 mm grid and resist water, mud, snow, dirt and oil. Integrated conversion tables and three rulers provide useful reference tools for working with maps.

50 Sheets in a Compact Format

The notebook measures 96 × 148 mm and contains 50 sheets, providing a total of 100 pages. Its compact dimensions allow it to fit easily into a pocket, pouch or equipment bag while leaving sufficient room for routine field notes.

7 × 7 mm Grid

Each page features a 7 × 7 mm grid that supports organized writing, simple diagrams and the recording of dimensions or other technical data.

Conversion Tables and Map Rulers

The notebook includes metric and US customary unit conversions, an overview of British imperial length units and map-scale references. It also features a centimeter ruler and map rulers for scales of 1:25,000 and 1:50,000.

Waterproof Stone Paper

The paper consists of approximately 80% calcium carbonate and 20% HDPE. It does not absorb water, including through its cut edges, and resists mud, snow, dirt and oil. The material is also more resistant to tearing and routine wear than conventional cellulose paper.

Multiple Writing Options

The pages can be written on with a standard pen or pencil. If conventional writing tools are unavailable, marks can also be made with a key or another suitable pointed metal object.

Military versions of the notebook have their own NATO Stock Number. The specific NSN varies according to the selected color.
