The original Virtus Assault 17l tactical backpack is designed for short missions, but it can also handle demanding expeditions. It reliably protects equipment, offers a modular approach and withstands rough handling. Those who know what they want will appreciate its pure functionality, military quality and MTP camouflage that can handle any environment.
The Virtus Assault comes directly from the equipment of British soldiers and keeps pace with the demands of the modern battlefield. It was created as a single-day backpack for assault operations, but its versatility makes it an ideal choice for everyday use, training or outdoor activities. It can be carried independently or attached to larger backpacks from the Bergen or Daysack line – just like British soldiers do.
The combination of durable materials (Cordura and Nylon) with a water-repellent finish ensures that equipment stays dry and the backpack withstands tougher conditions. Everything is held together by robust YKK zippers, massive buckles and strong seams. The IRR finish reduces visibility in the infrared spectrum – all these are details that make sense even for civilian use.
Two main zippered compartments, internal straps, a separate space for a hydration system and pockets for long items provide equipment with a secure place. MOLLE webbing on the front and sides offers additional expansion options. Compression straps adjust the backpack to the contents, and the ID panel makes it easy to label.
Padded back and wide shoulder straps distribute the load so the backpack sits comfortably even during longer carrying. The top handle and hidden straps add flexibility in handling and carrying. When action calls, they don't get in the way – the chest strap and buckles can be quickly unfastened.
