Helikon-Tex® Trooper Softshell Pants

Helikon-Tex Trooper Softshell Pants are lightweight tactical pants designed for field movement and work in changing conditions. The StormStretch fabric combines 98% nylon with 2% elastane and provides two-way stretch, abrasion resistance, breathability, and protection against wind and light rain. It also dries quickly, while a hydrophobic treatment helps limit the absorption of moisture and dirt.

StormStretch for Freedom of Movement

The lightweight StormStretch softshell fabric follows the wearer's movements when walking, kneeling, changing positions, or negotiating difficult terrain. Its two-way stretch construction is breathable and quick-drying.

A hydrophobic outer treatment helps prevent moisture and dirt from penetrating the fabric and makes the pants easier to maintain.

Adjustable Waist and Cuffs

The waist combines a hook-and-loop adjustment system with an elastic insert for a closer fit and greater freedom of movement. The leg cuffs can also be adjusted to fit the footwear being worn.

Reinforced Knees with Pad Compartments

The knee areas are reinforced for greater durability during frequent kneeling and movement over rough terrain. Internal compartments accept compatible knee pads, allowing additional protection to be added when required.

Side Ventilation Zippers

Long side openings with two-way YKK zippers provide rapid ventilation during strenuous activity. Their extended design also allows the pants to be put on or removed without taking off your footwear.

Six Functional Pockets

The Trooper pants feature six pockets. Four front pockets provide quick access to frequently used items, while two cargo pockets include internal organizers for smaller equipment. Reinforced pocket edges increase durability in high-wear areas.

Wide Belt Loops

Wide belt loops help keep the belt stable during movement. The front loops also include smaller attachment points for securing lightweight equipment with a carabiner or cord.
