The GOAST FIR Thermal LED Flasher provides immediate hit feedback without the need to approach the target. It combines visible and thermal indication, ensuring hits remain detectable even at long distances or in low-visibility conditions. The infrared diode operates in a spectrum compatible with thermal imaging devices, enabling hit detection at distances of several hundred metres. The design is based on the V3 platform and is built to withstand repeated impacts during training. Simply mount it correctly and start shooting.
The LED Flasher reacts instantly to impacts and produces a clear visual signal. This eliminates the need to interrupt shooting to manually inspect the target. It is particularly beneficial at longer distances, where target checks consume time. Immediate feedback allows faster shot evaluation and adjustment.
The FIR version uses dual diodes covering both visible and thermal spectrums. One diode emits red light visible to the naked eye, while the second operates in the far-infrared range, enabling detection through thermal imaging devices. This allows reliable hit observation at distances of up to approximately 600 metres.
The device offers two selectable flash durations. A short pulse in fractions of a second is suitable for dynamic shooting, while a longer mode lasting several seconds allows easier hit observation at distance or through optics. Mode switching is simple and allows quick adjustment without complex setup.
The housing is based on a third-generation design that improves durability and structural strength. The ABS polymer construction provides resistance to UV exposure and mechanical stress. A rotating closure system ensures secure fastening even under repeated impacts, while an O-ring seal protects against moisture and dust, enabling operation in demanding conditions.
The device is powered by a single AA battery, providing several days of operation depending on usage intensity and selected mode. The simple power system allows quick battery replacement without tools. The low weight ensures minimal impact on target handling.
For optimal performance, correct positioning on the target is essential. Recommended mounting points are near the top, bottom, or neck area of circular targets. The sensor must remain free of paint to ensure proper hit detection. Tightening should be done carefully to avoid thread damage. The flasher is designed exclusively for GOAST targets and is not compatible with other systems.
