The Rigad® hostage target with two figures simulates a hostage and threat scenario, requiring precise target discrimination under pressure. The hostage is positioned in the foreground, with the perpetrator behind. This reduced and mirrored version is optimized for training at 18.5 meters, maintaining realistic proportions while adapting to shorter distances. Separate scoring zones for head and body allow for detailed hit evaluation.
The layout forces shooters to distinguish between target and non-target. Hits on the perpetrator are scored positively, while hits on the hostage result in penalties. This develops not only accuracy but also situational awareness and correct threat assessment.
Both figures feature distinct scoring zones for head and body. Body hits are scored within a 7–10 point range, while head zones have their own scoring values. This allows precise evaluation of shot placement and effectiveness.
The target is scaled for use at 18.5 meters while preserving realistic proportions. The mirrored design introduces variation in target presentation, requiring shooters to adapt their approach and improve reaction skills.
A built-in scoring table allows for quick and easy recording of results directly on the target. This simplifies evaluation during training sessions without the need for additional tools.
Printed on 120 g paper, the target is durable enough for repeated use. The 42 × 59.4 cm size (A2 format) provides clear visibility of hits and scoring zones.
This target is suitable for individual practice as well as professional training scenarios focused on target prioritization, accuracy, and decision-making. It can be used for both static shooting and basic dynamic drills.
