Robens® tent shelter - tarp 4 m × 4 m

The Robens Tarp 4 m × 4 m is a practical tarp for building a shelter in nature. The robust, reliable and lightweight bivouac tarp by Robens offers many usage possibilities. It is ideal for building a shelter when camping and bivouacking. The dimensions are sufficient to provide protection for multiple people. It serves as protection against rain, snow, sun and wind.

Quick setup

You can easily set up the shelter using trekking poles or branches, placing them at the front and rear parts similar to tent poles. For this purpose, the tarp is reinforced and equipped with an opening and firmly attached guyline at the appropriate spots. Four more adjustable guylines are located at the corners of the tarp. If you are camping in a place with suitable conditions, the shelter can be set up without using poles or sticks. You only need to stretch a sufficiently long rope between two trees, drape the tarp over it, and tension it at the corners. Additional loops are sewn on the sides to which paracord or another rope can be attached for additional anchoring in extreme conditions.

Durable material

The HydroTex HD RS fabric was made exclusively for Robens based on requirements for a lightweight, strong and durable material. The strong polyester with ripstop finish has a high density with a water column of 5,000mm. It provides protection against UV radiation and is fire-retardant. This fabric withstands years of heavy use, regardless of how harsh the conditions are.
