Survival® SMART Bandage™ Pressure Bandage

The Survival SMART Bandage is a reusable pressure bandage with an integrated visual tension indicator. During application, the printed rectangular symbol changes into a square when the bandage reaches the intended level of stretch, providing a clear reference without relying solely on feel.

Visual Tension Indicator

The patented SMART indicator provides immediate visual feedback as the bandage is stretched. Once the rectangular symbol becomes square, the user can maintain more consistent tension throughout the wrap. This makes the bandage easier to apply in stressful situations and reduces the need to estimate tension during use.

Versatile First Aid Applications

The bandage measures 10 × 200 cm and can be used to apply pressure over a wound dressing, provide support for sprains and bruises, or help secure an injured limb. It can also be combined with the Survival Splint to hold the splint in position during temporary limb immobilization.

Washable and Reusable Construction

The bandage is made from durable cotton-blend fabric with finished edges that resist fraying. It can be washed and reused when its condition and hygiene allow, making it suitable for home, travel, sports, and field first aid kits.
