The Discoveryopt Picatinny scope rings are designed for riflescopes with a 30 mm main tube and interface with a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail. The robust two-piece ring set is CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and incorporates a bubble level for monitoring rifle cant. A top Picatinny rail provides an additional mounting point for compatible accessories. Precision-machined ring interiors support consistent contact with the riflescope tube, while a hard-anodized finish improves resistance to wear.
The integrated bubble level allows the shooter to monitor rifle cant while preparing the shot. Maintaining a level rifle is particularly important at extended distances, where cant can cause a horizontal shift in the point of impact when larger elevation corrections are applied.
A Picatinny rail integrated into the upper section provides an additional mounting point for compatible accessories directly above the riflescope. This expands the available setup options without occupying additional slots on the firearm's primary mounting rail.
The rings are CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum alloy and protected by a hard-anodized finish. Precision-machined internal surfaces help distribute clamping pressure evenly across the riflescope tube when installed correctly. The manufacturer specifies coaxiality between the rings of ≤ 0.01 mm/m. The complete ring set weighs 224 g.
This version is designed for a 30 mm riflescope tube and MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny mounting rail. The optic centerline sits 1.05 in / approximately 26.7 mm above the rail. The rings provide a neutral 0 MOA cant, use a three-screw mounting system, and are rated by the manufacturer for shock loads of at least 1,000 G.
The recommended tightening torque of 18 in-lb / approximately 2 Nm is laser-marked directly on the mount. This keeps the required torque specification visible during installation.
