The Nitecore EDC09 flashlight is a flat EDC flashlight designed for everyday carry at work and in the field. It offers strong light, three shades of white and smart controls in a body that fits in a pocket. A tilting head, magnetic base and diffuser extend its use from the workshop to camping. Simply put, a light that adapts to the situation, not the other way around.
Flat design for everyday carry
The body has an unusually flat shape that doesn't obstruct or press in the pocket. The design follows the EDC philosophy – carry, use, don’t worry. The steel body with a titanium finish withstands everyday handling and maintains its shape and appearance. Its low weight makes it a constant part of your gear.
Light according to conditions
Three types of white light offer a choice depending on the environment. A warm shade is pleasant for close work, neutral works better in rain and fog and cool enhances concentration during movement. Switching is quick and easy through a separate button without unnecessary thought.
Tilting head, magnet and diffuser
The head with a wide range of tilt allows directing the light precisely where needed. The magnetic base holds onto metal surfaces for hands-free work. The included diffuser spreads the light into space, turning the flashlight into an improvised lantern, useful for camping or emergency lighting.
Simple controls and equipment
Two buttons on the edge separate power on, intensity change and light mode selection. The built-in battery charges via USB-C and its charge status is monitored by an integrated indicator. The electronics manage temperature regulation to keep performance stable even during prolonged use.
