US company Leatherman® was founded in 1983 in Portland, Oregon. It was founded by Oregon State University graduate Timothy S. Leatherman, who later partnered with friend Steve Berliner.They started to develope multi-tool which named Pocket Survival. The company´s following success continued in developing of new products and nowdays the company produces dozens of products. 

Leatherman® rescue shears are made from high-quality stainless steel. Another material used is 420HC steel, which has higher carbon content compared to usuall stainless steel. Individual products come with MOLLE system compatible sheaths.

Leatherman® folding rescue knives or shears can serve as an universal tool in emergency situations and features for example seat belt cutter, glass breaker and other cutters. You can also get lanyard ring or pocket clip. In addition to rescue shears you can also find another Leatherman® products such as multi-tools, sheaths and pouches or accessories.
