Real Avid® Viz-Max Bore Sighter® Laser Bore Sight

The Real Avid Viz-Max Bore Sighter is a magnetic laser bore sight designed for fast preliminary sight alignment before live-fire zeroing. Its 515 nm green laser remains highly visible in daylight, while the powerful neodymium magnet attaches directly to the muzzle of a steel barrel. Because it mounts externally, there is no need for caliber-specific arbors or bore inserts. As with any bore sight, final zero should always be confirmed with live fire.

Magnetic Mounting Without Caliber Adapters

The Viz-Max Bore Sighter attaches directly to the muzzle using a powerful neodymium magnet, eliminating the need for caliber-specific rods, arbors, or chamber inserts. This makes it compatible with a wide range of firearms featuring a flat steel muzzle surface. Compatibility should be verified for barrels fitted with certain muzzle devices or non-standard muzzle profiles.

Highly Visible 515 nm Green Laser

The Class IIIa green laser operates at a wavelength of 515 nm with an output below 5 mW. Its bright green aiming point remains easy to see in daylight conditions and provides an effective sighting distance of approximately 25 yards (23 m). It is intended for initial optic or iron sight alignment before final zeroing at the range.

Durable Construction

The laser module is housed in a precision-machined aluminum body for long service life and field durability. It operates on two AAA batteries and automatically powers off after 30 minutes to conserve battery life. A protective hard case with foam insert and a chamber safety flag are included.
