KATADYN^® Vario Water Filter is an intelligent new generation filter, the fastest filter on the market, has a hand pump and 2 filtration speeds.

Three-stage Vario filtration- ceramic pre-filter inside and the glass fiber filter supplemented with a replaceable carbon filter.

The filtration (speed) is set according to the water source– slow with a dirty water (uses a ceramic pre-filter) and fast with cleaner water. It is set by simply turning on the selected position.

Immerse the inlet opening with a pre-filter into the water source, attach the bottle with screw top to the adapter on the bottom of the filter and start pumping. Pure drinking water is then delivered from outlet tube to the container.Vario is compatible with most field bottles with a wide mouth (eg Nalgene).Or the supplied hose can be mounted on the underside of the filter and fill a bottle that does not fits into the adapter, or a hydration bag. The hose is attached to the mouth (or hydration bag) by a special unit (fastener).

Filtration wheel on top of the filter can be easily cleaned - wiping with a cloth. After returning home, flush the filter with clean water.
