Qore Performance® Gen3 ICEPLATE® Hydration Bladder – 1.55 L

The Qore Performance Gen3 ICEPLATE is a hydration bladder that combines water storage, active cooling, and active heating in a single system. Designed around the dimensions of a medium ESAPI ballistic plate, it integrates seamlessly into plate carriers, tactical vests, backpacks, and other load-bearing equipment.

Hydration, Cooling, and Heating in One System

The ICEPLATE Gen3 holds up to 1.55 liters of drinking water while also helping regulate body temperature in demanding environments. When frozen, it can provide approximately 70 W of active cooling for 2–4 hours. When filled with warm water, it can deliver up to 52 W of heating power for 3–5 hours, helping maintain comfort in cold conditions. Actual cooling and heating duration will vary depending on ambient temperature, activity level, and operating conditions.

ESAPI-Compatible Form Factor

The bladder is dimensioned to match a medium ESAPI ballistic plate insert (24.1 × 31.8 × 2.8 cm), allowing it to fit many compatible plate carriers and tactical load-bearing systems. It is important to note that the ICEPLATE is not ballistic protection and does not replace a protective armor plate.

Lightweight and Durable Construction

Manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), the bladder is durable, food-safe, and BPA-free. Weighing only 320 g when empty, the Gen3 design provides increased capacity while maintaining a lower weight than previous generations.

Advanced Hydration System

The package includes a SOURCE 90 hydration tube fitted with a Helix Bite Valve and an ICECAP Gen3 quick-disconnect system. This setup allows the bladder to be replaced quickly and efficiently, similar to changing a magazine. Dual fill ports simplify filling, cleaning, and integration with compatible ICEFLASK and ICECAP system components.
