When the weather starts acting up, these military waterproof trousers hold the line. The British tailored them for their own storms – and they have plenty of those. Original from the British Army, Gore-Tex type membrane, MTP camouflage, thoroughly taped seams and reinforced knees. Simply gear that lasts more than one hike. Plus, they fit over clothing and can handle rough use.
These trousers are not a fashion statement, but the result of thorough development for real deployment. Soldiers of the British Army wore them in the worst weather – and they worked. Refined cut, durable construction, well-designed details. Whether you're going to a hide, into the forest, or just taking the dog out in a downpour in the morning, dry legs remain a certainty.
The Gore-Tex membrane stops water, wind and snow – but also wicks away sweat. It doesn't overheat, doesn't tear, doesn't soak. And thanks to the taped seams, covered zipper and double waist drawstring, they fit even during movement in difficult terrain.
You can easily put the trousers on over boots thanks to the zippers from ankle to calf. Double waist drawstring, access to pockets of the bottom layer through Velcro flaps, adjustable strap at the ankles. The knees are additionally reinforced – so you can kneel in the mud without the material falling apart. The British knew why such features were necessary.
The original MTP (Multi Terrain Pattern) camouflage pattern was created in collaboration with Crye Precision and is close to MultiCam – not a supermarket print. Designed for different environments and conditions, it fits perfectly into European nature and tall grass. And above all – it looks proper.
