The Safariland CUBL Gen.2 Low-Ride Hanger lowers the holster below belt level to improve draw speed and weapon accessibility when operating with tactical gear or ballistic protection. The reduced ride height helps clear plate carriers, duty equipment, and bulky setups while keeping the pistol grip in a more natural drawing position. Adjustable cant allows users to fine-tune holster angle for optimal ergonomics and weapon handling.
The Low-Ride setup positions the holster approximately 1.5 inches (4 cm) lower than the Mid-Ride configuration, allowing easier access to the handgun during rapid presentations. The lowered position improves clearance around body armor, chest rigs, and loaded duty belts, making it a preferred setup for professional users operating with heavier tactical equipment.
The CUBL Gen.2 platform allows users to adjust holster cant according to shooting style, body type, or mission-specific loadout. Compared to fixed mounting systems, the adjustable design offers improved ergonomics and more natural weapon presentation. Once configured, the mounting system remains stable and secure during repeated training or operational use.
The hanger is compatible with Safariland holsters using the standard 3-hole mounting pattern. It can also be paired with additional Safariland accessories, including the QLS quick-detach system for enhanced modularity. The slot-style attachment fits belts approximately 2" to 2.25" wide (50–58 mm).
Constructed from rugged polymer, the CUBL Gen.2 is designed to withstand long-term duty use, intensive training, and harsh operational conditions. The low-profile mounting system maintains excellent stability during movement without shifting or loosening on the belt. It provides a reliable platform for duty, range, and tactical applications where rapid weapon access is critical.
