




The HB Industries LW M-LOK 15" Handguard is a lightweight free-float upgrade for the CZ Scorpion EVO 3. Designed primarily for 16" barrel carbines, it provides an extended support-hand position, M-LOK mounting slots, and enough internal clearance to partially or fully shroud compatible suppressors. Compared to the Full Rail version, the LW model reduces weight by shortening the top Picatinny rail while retaining mounting capability where it is most useful.
The LW (Lightweight) version replaces the full-length top Picatinny rail with a shorter front rail section, reducing unnecessary weight without sacrificing functionality. The handguard weighs approximately 19 oz (539 g), making it roughly 3 oz (85 g) lighter than the Full Rail model. Its 15.13" (38.4 cm) length also allows for a modern extended support-hand grip.
M-LOK attachment slots along the handguard provide direct mounting points for weapon lights, vertical grips, hand stops, sling mounts, and other M-LOK-compatible accessories. A short Picatinny rail section at the front remains available for accessories that require a MIL-STD-1913 interface.
The free-float handguard features an internal diameter large enough to accommodate suppressors with an outside diameter of up to 1.57" (39.9 mm). This makes it suitable for builds where the suppressor is partially recessed beneath the handguard while still maintaining adequate clearance.
The handguard is CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum for an excellent balance of strength and weight. Depending on the model, it is finished with either a MIL-A-8625 Type III hard-anodized coating or Cerakote. All required installation hardware is included, although the barrel nut removal tool must be purchased separately.
This handguard is designed for CZ Scorpion EVO 3 pistols and carbines, with the 16" carbine configuration serving as the primary design reference. It is not compatible with 2024-and-newer CZ Scorpion 3+ Carbines. HB Industries also recommends using a polymer charging handle, as aluminum charging handles may increase friction against the aluminum handguard.
