When sleeping on a hammock under the sky, the cold and wind which penetrate through the hammock can cause an unpleasant, cold awake night. So how about to try novel solution from Snugpak^® – Hammock Cocoon

Warmth and comfort– wrapped like a caterpillar

It fully encases the hammock (somewhat like a cocoon or giant banana skin) and so it insulates very effectively, protects from cold wind,trapping warmth and therefore provides comfortable sleep. This is all ensured by innovative design and approach and also by water resistant polyester MicroDiamond and polyester insulation TravelSoft. Moreover, Paratex^® AntiBacterial treatment protects from microbes and bacteria. The full-length zip allows for easy access in and out.

Sufficient length, easy transport 

The system is sufficiently long, wiith its 3 m fits almost any hammock. The total weight is 1 950 g and thanks to the compact dimensions allows comfortable carry. Compression sack included.

Due to the versatility of the hammock insulation systems, the wide variety of applications and variations in a camp set up it is difficult to establish an overall comfort temperature for these items. As a general reference, the insulation used is Travelsoft with the similar fill weights to our two season sleeping bags. We would strongly recommend you experiment with your setup and gradually build up to more extreme temperatures until you are confident of the overall thermal performance.
