Gerber® LST Ultra Folding Knife

The Gerber LST Ultra continues the lightweight, minimalist design of the original LST series. This modern version features a plain-edge drop-point blade made from 420HC stainless steel, a lightweight glass-filled nylon handle and a classic lockback mechanism. A reversible pocket clip supports right- or left-side tip-up carry, while a lanyard hole provides an additional retention option. The knife is made in the USA.

420HC Stainless Steel Blade

The 2.7" / approximately 6.9 cm blade is made from 420HC stainless steel and features a plain edge. Its versatile drop-point profile is suitable for routine cutting tasks, everyday carry and general outdoor use.

Lightweight GFN Handle

The handle is made from glass-filled nylon, a material that combines low weight with good mechanical durability. This construction follows the lightweight design concept established by the original LST.

Classic Lockback Mechanism

A lockback mechanism secures the blade in the open position. Pressing the release on the spine of the handle disengages the lock so the blade can be folded after use.

Reversible Tip-Up Pocket Clip

The removable pocket clip can be installed on either side of the handle for right- or left-side tip-up carry. A hole at the end of the handle can accommodate a lanyard or retention cord.

Compact Dimensions

The LST Ultra measures approximately 6.4" / 16.3 cm when open and 3.8" / 9.7 cm when closed. Its compact design makes it suitable for carrying in a pocket or as part of an equipment setup.

Modern Version of the Original LST

The original Gerber LST was introduced in the early 1980s as a lightweight folding knife with a glass-filled nylon handle. The LST Ultra builds on this concept with an updated blade, handle and reversible pocket clip while retaining the series’ straightforward construction.
