Four hours that can save a life. The Stop The Bleed course at Rigad Olomouc, delivered by Elite Training Center Czech Republic, teaches participants how to control severe bleeding in both everyday and crisis situations.
Severe bleeding is one of the leading causes of preventable death after injury — and it can happen anywhere: at work, at home, or on the road. The DoD Stop The Bleed course, accredited by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and the Combat Casualty Care Research Program, prepares you for those moments when every minute counts.
This intensive, four-hour course is fully hands-on and suitable for both professionals and the general public. No prior medical background is required — only the willingness to learn how to help when a life is on the line.
During the DoD Stop The Bleed course, participants are introduced to the principles of the international STOP THE BLEED campaign, which trains the public to act effectively in case of life-threatening bleeding.
Instruction follows the principles of algorithmic medicine – clearly defined steps that help manage emergencies even under stress.
The course places strong emphasis on hands-on practice, confidence-building, and the ability to provide effective first aid under real-world conditions.
The DoD Stop The Bleed courses are taught by the Elite Training Center Czech Republic team – an accredited partner with a long-standing reputation in combat, tactical, and crisis medicine.
Instructors come from the Czech Armed Forces, the Integrated Rescue System, and civilian emergency services, bringing extensive real-world and operational experience from both domestic and international missions. Training can also be organized directly at your institution or workplace – the instructor team will arrive with full training equipment and tailor the course to your specific environment and needs.
Each participant receives an internationally recognized U.S. Department of Defense Stop The Bleed certificate upon completion.
“Every citizen should be able to stop massive bleeding as confidently as performing CPR.”
