The Defender works in a horizontal position, which helps keep the spray stream in the intended direction. This minimizes the risk of misdirection and supports the Defender Forward defensive stance taught by ASP training. This solution features a special insert with a valve that can be easily replaced after use.

Professional-level strength

The "Heat" cartridge included has the same formula used by security forces. The concentration and composition of the OC substance can quickly incapacitate an attacker, allowing time for retreat. It now also contains a UV dye for subsequent identification of the perpetrator.

Durable body, secure grip

The body made from precisely machined aluminum combines low weight and high durability. The fine textured surface ensures the Defender doesn’t slip even under stress. The brass control with a hole for a key ring offers another way to carry it, ensuring it's always within reach.

Simple maintenance and training

Only the cartridge is replaced when depleted or expired, not the entire device. Inert practice cartridges are available for handling training without risk.
