Antreg® Counterblast for VULCAN M2/F2

The Antreg Counterblast is a quick-detach blast diverter designed for AR-15 rifles chambered in .223 Rem / 5.56 NATO. Installed over a compatible muzzle device, it redirects muzzle blast, pressure, and concussion forward instead of to the sides, improving shooter comfort when using short-barreled rifles or high-efficiency muzzle brakes. Its stainless steel body and titanium locking collar provide excellent durability while keeping the overall weight to just 275 g.

Redirects Blast and Concussion Forward

Effective muzzle brakes redirect expanding gases to reduce recoil, but they also generate significant side blast and concussion. The Counterblast channels these gases forward, reducing the pressure wave experienced by the shooter and bystanders. It is particularly beneficial when shooting on indoor ranges, under overhead cover, or in other confined environments. The Counterblast is not a sound suppressor and does not reduce the firearm's sound signature—it simply redirects muzzle blast away from the firing line.

Quick-Detach VULCAN Interface

The integrated quick-detach mounting system allows the Counterblast to be installed or removed in seconds. It is fully compatible with Antreg VULCAN M2 muzzle brakes and VULCAN F2 flash hiders, allowing the same muzzle device to be used either on its own or with the blast diverter attached whenever conditions require it.

Hybrid Steel and Titanium Construction

The main body is manufactured from high-strength stainless steel, while the locking collar with the integral diffuser is machined from titanium to reduce weight without sacrificing durability. The combination of materials offers excellent resistance to heat, pressure, and mechanical wear, making the Counterblast suitable for intensive use on AR-15 rifles chambered in .223 Rem / 5.56 NATO.
