Apex® Action Enhancement Trigger Kit for FN 509 (Flat Trigger)

The Apex Action Enhancement Trigger Kit for the FN 509 upgrades the factory fire control system with a lighter, smoother trigger pull and a flat-faced trigger shoe. The kit reduces trigger pull weight to approximately 5.5 lb (2.5 kg) while shortening take-up, over-travel, and reset. It includes a flat aluminum trigger pre-installed on an Apex trigger bar together with the Apex Performance Sear, while retaining the factory-style center-mounted trigger safety.

Lighter, More Refined Trigger Pull

Once installed, the kit reduces trigger pull weight to approximately 5.5 lb (2.5 kg). It also shortens take-up, minimizes over-travel, and provides a shorter, more tactile reset than the factory trigger. The result is a cleaner trigger break, more consistent trigger control, and faster follow-up shots.

Flat-Faced Trigger with Integral Safety Blade

The flat trigger shoe provides a consistent finger placement and encourages a straight-to-the-rear trigger press. An integral center safety blade preserves the factory passive trigger safety while maintaining the familiar operating characteristics of the original design.

Complete Drop-In Trigger Kit

The kit includes the Apex Action Enhancement Trigger pre-installed on an Apex trigger bar along with the Apex Performance Sear. Designed as a complete system, it replaces multiple factory fire control components without requiring fitting or permanent modification.

Compatible with FN 509 Pistols

The kit fits all current FN 509 models, including the Tactical, Midsize, Compact, and Edge Series. It is also compatible with the FN FNS Compact. It is not compatible with the FN FNS Full Size, FNS Longslide, or FN 503.
