The Pixfra Sirius S435 is a handheld thermal imaging monocular built around a 384 × 288 VOx detector with a 12 μm pixel pitch and NETD sensitivity of ≤18 mK. Its 35 mm F1.0 lens provides 3.68× native magnification and a manufacturer-rated detection range of up to 1,800 m. PIPS 2.0 image processing, a Full HD OLED display, onboard recording, and a replaceable 18650 battery make it suitable for wildlife observation, hunting, property monitoring, and field use.
The uncooled VOx detector combines a 384 × 288 resolution with low NETD sensitivity, helping the monocular distinguish subtle temperature differences when natural thermal contrast is limited by fog, humidity, or similar environmental conditions.
A 50 Hz refresh rate maintains smooth image movement while scanning terrain or following moving animals and other heat sources.
The 35 mm F1.0 objective lens provides 3.68× native magnification and a field of view measuring 13.7 × 10.3 m at 100 m. This configuration favors observation at medium and longer distances while retaining enough field of view for systematic terrain scanning.
The manufacturer specifies a detection range of up to 1,800 m. Digital magnification can be increased progressively up to 8× when a closer view of a selected area is required.
The Pixfra Imaging Processing System 2.0 processes the detector output to improve scene definition and emphasize relevant thermal detail. Hot spot tracking automatically marks the warmest area in the image, while defective-pixel correction helps maintain image quality over time.
The monocular also supports automatic, manual, or external flat-field correction and includes a digital compass for orientation in the field.
The thermal image is viewed through a 0.49" OLED display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 px. The high-resolution screen provides a clear viewing image and supports comfortable observation over extended periods.
Six selectable color palettes allow the display to be adapted to the environment and observation task. Adjustable diopter correction accommodates users with different eyesight requirements.
The Sirius S435 can capture still images and record video with sound through its integrated microphone. Files are stored in the 64 GB internal memory, eliminating the need for a separate memory card.
Built-in Wi-Fi allows the monocular to connect to the Pixfra Outdoor mobile app for live image viewing, file transfer, and compatible device functions.
Power is supplied by a replaceable 18650 battery, allowing a depleted battery to be exchanged in the field. The quick-access compartment simplifies replacement without tools.
Runtime is at least 7.5 hours at 25 °C with Wi-Fi switched off. The USB-C port can also supply external power from a compatible source.
The IP67-rated housing protects the monocular against dust and temporary water immersion. Its operating temperature range supports use in both freezing winter conditions and hot weather.
A metal lens cover protects the objective during transport and movement through the field. The simple three-button control layout keeps the primary functions accessible during one-handed operation.
