The Pixfra Sirius S635 is a handheld thermal imaging monocular built around a 640 × 512 VOx detector with a 12 μm pixel pitch and NETD sensitivity of ≤18 mK. Its 35 mm F1.0 lens combines a wide field of view with a manufacturer-rated detection range of up to 1,800 m. PIPS 2.0 image processing, a Full HD OLED display, onboard recording, and a replaceable 18650 battery make it suitable for wildlife observation, hunting, property monitoring, and field use.
The uncooled VOx detector provides enough resolution to display finer detail in both the observed subject and its surroundings. Its low NETD value helps distinguish subtle temperature differences when thermal contrast is limited by fog, humidity, or similar environmental conditions.
A 50 Hz refresh rate maintains smooth image movement when scanning terrain or following moving animals and other heat sources.
The 35 mm F1.0 objective lens provides 2.41× native magnification and a field of view measuring 21.9 × 17.6 m at 100 m. This combination provides a useful balance between broad-area scanning and observation at longer distances.
The manufacturer specifies a detection range of up to 1,800 m. Digital magnification can be increased progressively up to 8× when a closer view of a selected area is required.
The Pixfra Imaging Processing System 2.0 processes the detector output to improve scene definition and emphasize relevant thermal detail. Six color palettes allow the displayed image to be adapted to the environment, observation task, and user preference.
The thermal image is viewed through a 0.49" OLED display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 px. The high-resolution screen provides a clear viewing image and supports comfortable observation over extended periods. Adjustable diopter correction accommodates users with different eyesight requirements.
The Sirius S635 can capture still images and record video with sound through its integrated microphone. Files are stored in the 64 GB internal memory, eliminating the need for a separate memory card.
Built-in Wi-Fi allows the monocular to connect to the Pixfra Outdoor mobile app for live image viewing, file transfer, and compatible device functions.
An integrated digital compass assists with orientation in the field. Hot spot tracking automatically marks the warmest area in the image, making it easier to follow a prominent heat source while scanning.
The device also supports defective-pixel correction and automatic, manual, or external flat-field correction.
Power is supplied by a replaceable 18650 battery, allowing a depleted battery to be exchanged in the field. The quick-access battery compartment simplifies replacement without tools.
Runtime is approximately six hours at 25 °C with Wi-Fi switched off. The USB-C port can also supply external power from a compatible source.
The IP67-rated housing protects the monocular against dust and temporary water immersion. Its operating temperature range supports use in both freezing winter conditions and hot weather.
A simple three-button control layout keeps the primary functions accessible during one-handed operation.
