Antreg® AR-15 Stainless Steel Buffer Spring

The Antreg AR-15 Buffer Spring is designed for the receiver extension (buffer tube) of AR-15 platform rifles. Working together with the buffer, it returns the bolt carrier group (BCG) to battery after each firing cycle. Manufactured from stainless steel, the spring features a fully polished wire surface that helps reduce friction and promotes smooth, consistent operation of the recoil system.

Fully Polished Wire Surface

Unlike conventional buffer springs, the Antreg spring is polished around the entire circumference of the wire rather than only on the outer contact surface. This manufacturing process creates a smoother finish that helps reduce friction during compression and expansion while contributing to quieter, smoother cycling.

Reliable Recoil System Performance

Installed inside the receiver extension, the buffer spring works in conjunction with the buffer to absorb energy during the rearward movement of the bolt carrier group and drive it forward to chamber the next round. Its stainless steel construction provides excellent corrosion resistance and long service life under regular use.
