Discoveryopt® MS 4–16×44 SFIR SFP MOA-L Riflescope

The Discoveryopt MS 4–16×44 SFIR SFP MOA-L Riflescope combines a 4–16× magnification range with a 44 mm objective lens and an illuminated MOA-L reticle in the second focal plane. Elevation and windage adjustments use 0.25 MOA clicks, while locking turrets help prevent unintended changes. A side-focus control provides parallax adjustment from 10 yd to infinity. The riflescope also features a 30 mm main tube, nitrogen-purged construction, and an IP66 rating.

Illuminated SFP MOA-L Reticle

The MOA-L reticle is located in the second focal plane, so its apparent size remains constant as magnification changes. Red illumination with six brightness settings improves reticle visibility against dark or low-contrast backgrounds. The illumination is powered by a CR2032 battery.

0.25 MOA Adjustments and Locking Turrets

Each elevation and windage click corresponds to 0.25 MOA, approximately 7.3 mm at 100 m. Both adjustment axes provide a total travel range of 80 MOA. The turrets can be locked after adjustment to reduce the risk of accidental rotation during handling or transport.

Side-Focus Parallax Adjustment

The side-focus control provides parallax adjustment from 10 yd, approximately 9.1 m, to infinity. This allows the image focus and parallax setting to be matched to the target distance without reaching forward to the objective housing.

4–16× Magnification Range

The 4–16× magnification range provides a wider field of view at lower power and greater target detail at higher magnification. The field of view ranges from approximately 9.6 to 2.4 m at 100 yd. Exit pupil diameter ranges from 10.2 to 2.6 mm, while eye relief is approximately 90–80 mm.

30 mm Main Tube and IP66 Rating

The riflescope has a 30 mm main tube, a 52 mm external objective housing diameter, an overall length of 326 mm, and a weight of 530 g. Its nitrogen-purged construction helps prevent internal fogging, while the IP66 rating confirms protection against dust and powerful water jets. The manufacturer rates this model for 5.56 NATO recoil.
