Discoveryopt® LHD 1–6×24 SFIR SFP MOA Riflescope

The Discoveryopt LHD 1–6×24 SFIR SFP MOA is a compact low-power variable optic with true 1× magnification, a 6× maximum setting, and a 24 mm objective lens. Its second focal plane reticle combines a fiber-optic aiming element with electronic red illumination. The MOA-based turrets provide a 0.5 MOA click value, 140 MOA of total elevation travel, and 86 MOA of total windage travel. A 34 mm main tube is combined with a compact overall length of 273 mm and a weight of 556 g.

True 1× to 6× Magnification

The 1–6× magnification range supports fast target acquisition at close range and more precise aiming at increased distances. True 1× magnification allows both-eyes-open shooting, while the 6× setting provides a more detailed view of the target. The field of view ranges from approximately 44.1 m at 1× to 6.7 m at 6×, measured at 100 m. The exit pupil ranges from 12.6 to 4 mm, while eye relief measures approximately 100 to 92 mm.

Second Focal Plane Reticle with Fiber-Optic Element

The reticle is located in the second focal plane, meaning its apparent size remains constant as magnification changes. Its fiber-optic element uses ambient light to highlight the aiming point in daylight conditions. Electronic red illumination with 6 brightness settings is available for low-light or low-contrast conditions and is powered by one CR2032 battery.

MOA-Based Adjustments

Both elevation and windage adjustments use MOA values, with each click corresponding to 0.5 MOA. The riflescope provides 140 MOA of total elevation travel and 86 MOA of total windage travel for zeroing and subsequent corrections. Parallax is factory-set at 100 yd, or approximately 91.4 m.

Compact 34 mm Main Tube Construction

The riflescope features a 34 mm main tube, measures 273 mm in overall length, and weighs 556 g. Nitrogen purging helps prevent internal fogging, while the IP67 rating provides dust-tight protection and resistance to temporary immersion in water. The manufacturer rates this model for recoil up to .50 BMG.
