Real Avid® Bore-Max® Speed Jag and Patch Set

The Real Avid Bore-Max Speed Jag and Patch Set includes 10 caliber-specific cleaning jags and 500 matching patches for cleaning pistol and rifle bores. The jags and patches are engineered as a complete system, providing a precise caliber fit and up to four times more bore contact than conventional cleaning jags. The increased surface area helps remove carbon fouling, copper deposits, and other residue more efficiently.

Maximum Contact with the Bore

Bore-Max Speed Jags are sized for specific calibers and designed to be used with their corresponding Speed Jag Patches. Together, they create consistent contact around the bore while reducing patch bunching and uneven pressure as the cleaning rod passes through the barrel.

The micro-textured patches absorb solvents and cleaning agents while helping lift and retain loosened fouling. Their shape and dimensions are matched to the jags for efficient one-pass cleaning and controlled resistance through the bore.

Ten Caliber-Specific Cleaning Jags

The set includes rifle jags for .22/.223/5.56 mm, .243/6 mm, .260/6.5 mm, .270, .284/7 mm, and .30/7.62 mm calibers. Pistol jags are included for .22, .380/9 mm, .40, and .45 calibers.

Each jag features a nickel-plated finish for improved resistance to cleaning chemicals and corrosion during repeated use.

Matched Jag and Patch System

Bore-Max Speed Jags and Speed Jag Patches are designed to work together as a matched cleaning system. Using standard patches with Bore-Max jags, or Bore-Max patches with conventional jags, may result in an improper bore fit and reduced cleaning performance.
