Pixfra® Pegasus 2 P335 LRF Thermal Riflescope

The Pixfra Pegasus 2 P335 LRF is a thermal riflescope featuring an integrated laser rangefinder, ballistic calculator, and a conventional 30 mm main tube for mounting in compatible standard scope rings. Its 384 × 288 VOx thermal sensor, ≤15 mK NETD sensitivity, and 35 mm F1.0 objective lens provide reliable heat-signature detection and a detailed image for medium-range observation and shooting. The familiar riflescope-style housing and straightforward controls make it easy to integrate into an existing setup.

384 × 288 Thermal Sensor

The Pegasus 2 P335 LRF uses an uncooled VOx thermal sensor with a resolution of 384 × 288 pixels, a 12 μm pixel pitch, an 8–14 μm spectral range, and NETD sensitivity of ≤15 mK at F1.0. The low NETD value helps reveal subtle temperature differences and improves image readability in low-contrast conditions.

Unlike image-intensifier night vision, thermal imaging detects emitted heat rather than reflected light. It therefore requires no ambient light or infrared illuminator and can detect heat signatures in complete darkness as well as through fog, smoke, rain, or partially obscuring vegetation.

35 mm F1.0 Objective Lens

The manually focused 35 mm F1.0 objective lens provides a base magnification of 4.1× and a field of view of 13.2 × 9.9 m at 100 m. This combination produces a more focused view suited to observing a specific area or target at medium distances. The minimum focusing distance is 3 m, while the maximum detection range reaches up to 1,800 m.

Digital zoom from 1× to 8× allows closer inspection of the thermal image when needed. The stated detection range indicates the ability to detect a heat signature and should not be confused with identification range or a safe engagement distance.

Integrated Laser Rangefinder and Ballistic Calculator

The integrated Class 1 laser rangefinder measures distances out to 1,000 m with an accuracy of ±1 m. Direct ranging through the riflescope simplifies distance assessment in darkness and eliminates the need to operate a separate handheld rangefinder.

The built-in ballistic calculator works with multiple reticle styles and colors and supports five zeroing profiles. This allows the riflescope to be configured for different firearms, ammunition types, or zero distances.

Conventional 30 mm Main Tube

The Pegasus 2 P335 LRF uses a traditional riflescope-style housing with a 30 mm main tube, allowing installation in compatible standard scope rings without a proprietary mounting system. The familiar form factor is well suited to shooters accustomed to conventional daytime optics.

Manual focus is adjusted using the top-mounted focusing wheel at the rear of the unit, eliminating the need to reach forward to the objective lens. Primary functions are controlled through a rotary wheel and buttons, while a separate switching wheel provides direct access to power and standby modes. The device also supports quick startup, Czech and Slovak menu languages, and diopter adjustment from -5 D to +5 D.

High-Resolution OLED Display

The thermal image is displayed on a 0.5-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 1600 × 1200 pixels. Six color palettes are available: White Hot, Black Hot, Iron Red, Alarm, Green Hot, and Sepia. These display modes allow the image presentation to be adapted to different terrain, weather conditions, and user preferences.

Pixfra PIPS 3.0 image-processing technology enhances contrast, detail, and overall image readability, helping maintain a clear thermal image when temperature differences between the target and its surroundings are limited.

Recording and Field Functions

The riflescope supports photo capture, video recording with audio, an onboard gallery, a Wi-Fi hotspot, Picture-in-Picture mode, Hot Spot Tracking, standby mode, defective pixel correction, and automatic, semi-automatic, or manual flat-field correction.

Built-in 64 GB storage provides space for recorded photos and videos. Recoil-activated recording automatically saves a 30-second video clip covering approximately 15 seconds before and 15 seconds after the shot. Files can be reviewed or transferred through the Pixfra Outdoor app.

Dual-Battery Power System

Power is supplied by a built-in rechargeable lithium battery and one removable rechargeable 18650 battery. The quick-release battery compartment allows the removable battery to be replaced without switching off the riflescope. Together, the batteries provide up to 10 hours of runtime at 25 °C with Wi-Fi disabled.

The riflescope can be charged or externally powered through its USB-C port using a 5 V DC power source.

Durable Magnesium Alloy Housing

The magnesium alloy housing is rated IP67 for protection against dust and water. The riflescope operates in temperatures from -30 °C to +55 °C and withstands recoil forces of up to 1,000 g for 0.4 ms. It measures approximately 407.5 × 90 × 78.5 mm and weighs no more than 820 g.
