How to Use

1. Prepare a small pile of dry, flammable material—cotton balls, wood shavings, or even makeup remover pads work well.
2. Firmly strike the rod with the metal striker or the spine of a knife to create sparks.
3. Direct the sparks into your tinder until it ignites.
