Discoveryopt Heavy Duty Angle Scope Rings are designed for riflescopes with a 34 mm main tube and mounting on a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail. Selectable 30, 60, or 90 MOA cant preserves more of the riflescope’s elevation adjustment range for long-range shooting. The rings provide an optic centerline height of 1.35″ / 34.29 mm and are CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum alloy with a Type III hard-coat anodized finish.
The ring system can be configured with 30, 60, or 90 MOA of cant. Increasing the cant preserves a larger portion of the riflescope’s internal elevation travel for long-range adjustments without requiring a separate inclined mounting rail. The available settings are marked directly on the rings.
This model is designed for riflescopes with a 34 mm main tube and attaches to a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail. The set comprises two separate rings whose spacing can be adjusted to the available mounting surface on the optic. The optic centerline height is 1.35″ / 34.29 mm.
Each ring cap is secured by six screws, with three screws on either side. This reinforced configuration distributes clamping pressure around the scope tube. The precision-finished inner surfaces provide uniform contact when correctly installed and tightened.
The rings are CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum alloy and protected by a Type III hard-coat anodized finish for increased resistance to wear and corrosion. The manufacturer specifies coaxiality of ≤ 0.01 mm/m, resistance to shock loads of at least 1,000 G, and a total weight of 263 g.
The inner surfaces are precision-lapped to provide even contact with the scope tube and distribute clamping pressure uniformly. The recommended tightening torque of 18 in-lb, approximately 2 Nm, is laser-marked directly on the rings.
