Hex Rip-Stop

Hex Rip-Stop is a technical fabric constructed using the ripstop weaving principle, designed to enhance resistance to tearing while maintaining low weight. A characteristic feature is the regular grid of reinforced fibers—often arranged in a hexagonal pattern—which helps prevent further propagation of tears if the material becomes damaged.

This type of fabric is widely used in outdoor equipment, where the balance between strength, low weight, and packability is essential. Hex Rip-Stop is primarily utilized in products by Snugpak, including sleeping bags, compression sacks, transport bags, and other technical accessories.
