The Apex extractor for the FN 509 is a premium replacement for the factory extractor, engineered to improve extraction and ejection reliability under demanding conditions. Machined from heat-treated stainless steel, it features Apex's optimized extractor hook geometry, while the critical engagement surface is precision-cut using wire EDM technology for maximum consistency.

Optimized Extractor Geometry

The extractor hook is designed to provide positive engagement with the cartridge rim throughout the pistol's operating cycle. In addition to reliable extraction and ejection of fired cases, the extractor also contributes to proper cartridge control during feeding and chambering.

Precision-Machined Stainless Steel

Machined from a single piece of heat-treated stainless steel, the extractor is built for long service life and consistent performance. The critical hook geometry is produced using wire EDM machining for exceptional dimensional accuracy, while the Black Nitride finish improves wear and corrosion resistance.

Compatible with FN 509 9mm Pistols

The extractor is designed for all current 9mm FN 509 pistols, including Tactical, Midsize, Compact, and Edge Series models. It installs as a direct replacement for the factory extractor without requiring modifications. It is not compatible with the FN FNS or FNS Compact.
