Apex® Extended Slide Release for Springfield Hellcat & Hellcat Pro

The Apex Extended Slide Release for the Springfield Armory Hellcat and Hellcat Pro provides a larger, textured control surface than the factory part for more positive manipulation. The extended paddle offers improved thumb purchase when locking the slide to the rear, making administrative handling, field stripping, and certain malfunction-clearance procedures easier. Machined from heat-treated steel, it installs as a direct replacement for the factory slide release.

Larger Control Surface for Improved Handling

The extended paddle provides more thumb contact than the factory slide release, while the textured surface helps maintain a secure grip during operation. Locking the slide to the rear is easier during field stripping, chamber inspections, or malfunction clearance, particularly under adverse conditions or while wearing gloves.

Direct Drop-In Replacement

The Apex slide release installs in place of the factory component without requiring permanent modifications to the pistol. Because of its extended profile, compatibility with some holsters should be verified before carry or duty use.

Heat-Treated Steel Construction

Machined from steel and heat treated for long-term durability, the slide release is built to withstand repeated use. Depending on the model, it is available with either a black oxide finish or a matte hard chrome finish.

Compatible with Hellcat and Hellcat Pro Pistols

The Extended Slide Release fits all Springfield Armory Hellcat variants, including the Hellcat RDP and Hellcat Pro. Compatibility with the European Springfield H11 has not been verified by the manufacturer.
