Discoveryopt® High Dovetail Scope Rings, 30 mm, 1.35″

Discoveryopt High 1.35″ Dovetail Scope Rings are designed for riflescopes with a 30 mm main tube. The set comprises two separate rings CNC-machined from 6063-T6 aluminum alloy and protected by a Type III hard-coat anodized finish. Precision-honed inner surfaces provide uniform contact with the scope tube, while the recommended tightening torque is marked directly on the rings.

Designed for Dovetail Rails

These rings attach directly to a compatible dovetail rail. Their separate configuration allows the front and rear rings to be positioned independently according to the available mounting surface on the riflescope and the layout of the firearm’s rail. The width and profile of the dovetail should be checked before installation.

For 30 mm Scope Tubes

This model is designed for riflescopes with a 30 mm main tube. Precision-honed inner surfaces promote even contact and distribute clamping pressure uniformly around the tube when the rings are correctly installed.

High 1.35″ Configuration

The manufacturer classifies this model as a High mount with a height of 1.35″, approximately 34.3 mm. The elevated position provides additional clearance for riflescopes with larger objective housings. Compatibility should always be checked against the firearm, rail height, and external dimensions of the selected optic.

6063-T6 Aluminum Construction

The rings are CNC-machined from 6063-T6 aluminum alloy. Their matte Type III hard-coat anodized finish increases resistance to scratches, wear, and corrosion.

Specified Installation Torque

The recommended tightening torque of 18 in-lb, approximately 2 Nm, is marked directly on the rings. The mount has a neutral 0 MOA cant and uses a two-screw clamping system. The manufacturer specifies coaxiality of ≤ 0.01 mm/m and resistance to shock loads of at least 1,000 G.
