This broadhead sharpener is safe, simple and compact tool, that allows fast work of three different tasks - broadhead tightening/replacement and sharpens broadheads. Can be also used to touch up knives. Broadhead is an indispensable helper for every hunter/shooter. Sharpening angles are pre-set at 22,5° to achieve 45° angle.
Step 1 - grip the sharpener, fingers inside the guard, thumb resting against the thumb guard
Step 2 - place the knife on a solid, flat surface cutting edge up, let about 1/2 of the blade extend beyond the edge of the surface (for example table); hold the knife steady with one hand and begin tio sharpen with the other
Step 3 - place the "V" in the head of the quick edge sharpener; hold the sharpener at roughly 90° to the blade – greater angle would result in poor sharpening performance– draw the sharpener towards the tip of the blade; tungsten carbide sharpener grudually removes metal from the blade, making it sharp; repeat 3 to 4 times, applying light pressure; repeat on all broadhead blades
Step 4 – clean the blade thoroughly
Same use for both right and left-handers.
To remove broadhead - place broadhead into the wrench located at the top of the sharpener and then twist arrow anti-clockwise.
To attach broadhead - place broadhead in wrench, bring arrow to threads and twist arrow clockwise
Note: Read the instructions before use. Do not rush and pay attention to
what you do. Knife sharpening is an inherently dangerous activity - if you use this
sharpener properly you can not be hurt but a careless handling or pointed objects can hurt you.
