The Tasmanian Tiger First Responder 50 Medical Backpack IRR is designed for professional deployment in demanding conditions where both efficient organization and reduced infrared signature are critical. It offers a modular internal layout, high durability, and clear arrangement of medical equipment, making it suitable for tactical and field operations.
The interior utilizes a hook-and-loop system, removable pouches with transparent lids, and adjustable dividers. Elastic retention loops, attachment points, and color-coded elements ensure clear organization and allow customization based on mission requirements.
The backpack features an externally accessible pocket for disposable gloves, holders for scissors and medical tools, and a dedicated compartment for an infusion bag. Side compartments accommodate SAM splints. A removable Tegris panel provides additional mounting options for gear.
All materials, including CORDURA fabric, webbing, buckles, and hook-and-loop panels, meet German military standards TL 8305-0278 and TL 8305-0281. The IRR (Infrared Reflectance Reduction) treatment in the 650–1250 nm range reduces detectability under night vision devices.
The backpack is constructed from CORDURA 700 den IRR material, offering high abrasion resistance. MOLLE webbing on the sides and bottom allows for gear expansion. A padded back system and adjustable shoulder straps ensure comfortable carrying, even over body armor or a ballistic vest.
