The Tasmanian Tiger Base Pack 60 FO Backpack IRR is designed for multi-day missions and extended field use where reduced visibility is essential. IRR materials limit detection in the infrared spectrum, while the roll-top collar expands capacity from 60 up to 75 liters. MOLLE webbing enables modular gear attachment, and the V2 Plus carrying system ensures stability and comfort under load. The front access opening allows quick handling of equipment without unnecessary delays.
The large front opening provides direct access to the main compartment without unloading the pack from the top. Separate upper and lower compartments help maintain a clear layout, while the lid pocket keeps smaller essentials within reach. Attachment points for trekking poles, ice axes, or similar equipment keep gear secured during movement.
The roll-top collar increases total volume up to 75 liters. The lid height is adjustable and can be completely removed if needed. MOLLE webbing on the front, sides, and lid allows attachment of additional gear. The backpack is compatible with a hydration system and includes routing options for antennas or cables. The removable hip belt can also be used separately as a Warrior Belt.
The V2 Plus carrying system offers adjustable torso length for a precise fit. Its construction distributes weight evenly and improves stability during movement. Shoulder straps, a height-adjustable chest strap, and a removable hip belt work together to keep the load secure even during extended wear.
CORDURA materials, webbing, and buckles meet German military IRR standards (650–1250 nm), reducing visibility in the infrared spectrum. The PFC/PFAS-free DWR finish protects the contents from moisture and dirt during field use.
